Quick Update to Itinerary

The itinerary continues to change on an hourly basis. On Feb 26th we got the news that we would not be allowed to port in Seychelles. We were to stop in Mauritius on Feb 29th to only refuel and then try for Mozambique. Late on the night of Feb 27th we got news that we might be allowed off the ship in Mauritius on Feb 29th. We prepared and everyone held their breath. The morning of the 29th the Mauritian immigration folks boarded the boat and screened every one of us and the crew. We were allowed to disembark for the day. The captain worked with the port authority and our current plan is to again dock in Mauritius on March 3rd. They already let us off once and we are now floating around off shore so the port authority can be assured that we still do not have coronavirus while we await a berth to open up. Fingers crossed, but it looks like we will have March 3-7 in Mauritius. Then off to S. Africa, but truthfully, everything changes daily. We could go to Antarctica for all we know.
